The Papers of Sir William Johnson
By Sir William Johnson (1715-1774); Publication date 1921-1965

The Sir William Johnson papers represents a significant number of Johnson's personal and business papers. The collection consists of several thousand individual documents ranging from bills and receipts to correspondence to household inventories. It also includes materials seized by the State during the American Revolution and other materials acquired subsequently as supplementary material. Topics include: New York State History, Niagara History, Fort Niagara, Native History (so called Indian Affairs), the Seven Years War and more.
